Acid and basicity :
The substances which produce H+ ions when dissolved in water is called acid.
The no.of replaceable H+ ions is called Basicity.
Base and Acidity :
The substances which produce OH- ions when dissolved in water are called bases.
The no.of replaceable OH- ions is called Acidity.
