acids  -

1. Acids are sour in taste.

2. Acids turns blue litmus into red.

3. Acids are acidic in nature.

4. The PH level of acids <7 less than 7.

5. Acids are slippery.

For eg - Hydrochloric Acid, Sulphuric Acid etc.

bases -

1.Bases are bitter in taste.

2.Bases turn red litmus into blue.

3. Bases are basic in nature.

4.The PH level of bases >7 greater than 7.

5.Bases are soapy.

For eg - Magnesium Hydroxide, Sodium Hydroxide etc.

Acids - The substances which are sour in taste and turn blue litmus into red are called Acids.

Bases - The substances which are bitter in taste and turns red litmus into blue are called Bases.
