Difference between Acid, base and salt

ACIDS:

Acids are substances that are sour to taste.

▶Example: lime juice

BASES:

Bases are the substances that have a bitter taste and soapy to touch.

▶Example: baking soda

SALTS:

When an acid and a base are mixed, both neutralize each other forming salt, which is neither acidic nor basic.

▶Example: NaCl
