Davis Steering Gear:
It has sliding pair.
It wears out easily because it has more friction than the turning pair.
This type is mathematically accurate
The whole mechanism is in front of the wheel (sliding pair)
It has only turning pair.
The track arms are setup inclined; in case if the axles are extended, they will meet on the longitudinal axis of the car near rear axle.
It is not mathematically accurate.
The whole mechanism is in back of the front wheel (turning pair).
