Aquired trait is the trait which is aquired by the species or adopted by the species.

Inherited trait is the trait which is developed in the species which comes in its DNA itself.

For example: In the polar region 2 brown bears had a white bear as a child. The white color of the baby bear is the aquired trait which will help the baby bear to hide from the predators as it's colour gets mixed with the color of the snow.

If the baby bear would be brown itself it is called as inherited trait bcz it comes from the DNA of its parents...

Hope it helps you...

Answer:

Acquired traits..

These are the traits which are developed in an individual due to special conditions.

They cannot be transferred to the progeny.

They cannot direct evolution Example: low weight of starving beetles.

Inherited traits..

These are the traits which are passed from one generation to the next.

They get transferred to the progeny.

They are helpful in evolution. Eg. Colour of eyes and hair.
