Flowers which show radial symmetry are called Actinomorphic. These flowers can be divided into two equal halves by any radial plane which passes through their centre. e.g. family Solenaceae and brassicaceae.
On the other hand flower with bilateral symmetry are called Zygomorphic and can be divided into two equal halves by only one radial plane which passes through their centre. e.g. family leguminosae and Lamiaceae
