the passage of molecules through the membrane from a high concentration to low concentration reign is called passive transport while the molecules of active transport usually move from reign of low concentration to high concentration I.e, molecule usually move against the concentration gradient

Active transport is the passage of substances from a region of thee low concentration to the region of the high concentration using the energy of cell in the form of ATP


Passive transport is nothing but a diffusion of molecule from a region of high concentration to the region of low concentration without using the energy of cell
