1. Acute illnesses are those that will eventually resolve without any medical supervision (colds, teething).
 
2. Chronic illnesses are more serious illnesses that require medical supervision (like Tuberculosis or Cancer).

acute disease - those type of disease which last for short period of time and they are not effect our body more . total recover over the body is sure . e.g.commomcold

chronic disease - disease which lasts for long period and they are effect our body . total recovery of body is not sure .
