A chronic condition, by contrast is a long-developing syndrome, such as osteoporosis or asthma.

acute disease are the diseases that last for only very short oeriod s of time .eg common cold
chronic disease are diseases that last for long time ,even as much as lifetime .
eg elephantiasis ,tuverculosis.of lungs etc
3 they also have very drastic long term effects on peoples health as compared to acute diseases
