Aerenchyma-it is found in the aquatic plants.
Chlorenchyma - it is found in plants which make their food by the process of photosynthesis.

Aerenchyma and chlorenchyma are derived from parenchyma.
These two consists of some differences:
Aerenchyma:
- It is mostly found in the type of aquatic plants.
- Large spaces of air could be found in the cells of plants or leaves, exchange of gases is done through the shoots and roots.
Chlorenchyma:
- It is found in the type of plants which make their food by the phenomenon of photosynthesis.
- The cells contains chloroplast which helps in the food making process.
