Aerobic respiration
It is the process of cellular respiration that takes place in the presence of oxygen gas

Anaerobic respiration

Aerobic Respiration - It is a process in which respiration takes place in the presence of Oxygen. During this process glucose is completely Oxidised to release 38 ATP molecules.
Anaerobic respiration - It is the process during which Respiration takes place in the absence of Oxygen. In this process Glucose in not completely oxidised and only 2 ATP molecules are released. In place of Carbon Dioxide and water released in aerobic respiration with energy Lactic acid or Ethyl alcohol is released in this process. This process takes place in lower organisms such as bacteria.
