Hi mate

Aerobic Respiration

Definition: The breakdown of glucose in the presence of oxygen to produce more amount of energy is called as aerobic respiration.

Chemical Equation : Glucose + Oxygen gives Carbon dioxide +water + energy

It occurs in : The cytoplasm to mitochondria.

Energy produced : The high amount of energy is produced.

Anaerobic Respiration

Definition : The breakdown of glucose in the absence of oxygen to produce energy is called as anaerobic respiration

Chemical Equation : Glucose gives Lactic acid + energy

It occurs in : Takes place in cytoplasm only.

Energy produced : Less amount of energy produced.

Hi mate,

✓Aerobic Respiration;

1)Occurs in the presence of oxygen

2)Complete breakdown of respiratory substrate,i.e.glucose

3)Occurs in cytoplasm and mitochondria of a cell

4)The end products are carbon dioxide and water

5)Large amount of energy is released,38ATP

✓✓Anaerobic Respiration;

1)Occurs in the absence of oxygen

2)Incomplete breakdown of glucose

3)Occurs in cytoplasm of the cell

4)The end products are cardondioxide and ethanol or lactic acid.

5)Less energy is released,2 ATP

I hope it helps you!!!
