Difference between air and weather :

Air is simply the mixture of gases present in the atmosphere whereas weather refers to the state of the atmosphere during a particular time over a particular place.

  • The atmosphere is composed of different gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, ozone, etc. These gases combine to form a mixture which is termed 'air'.

  • Weather is the state of the atmosphere like the temperature or the humidity. Such a state of atmosphere differs from place to place and time to time. This occurs due to different composition of the air at different time intervals and places.
