ALLOYS:-

An alloy is a homogeneous mixture of two or more metals, or a metal and a non metal. The properties of an alloy are different from that of combining elements. For example when iron is mixed with Carbon, nickel and chromium, stainless steel is obtained which is hard and does not rust.
