here is your answer
Adding ammonium hydroxide to a solution of copper sulfate changes the color from a bright blue color to a deep blue aquamarine color. Adding sodium hydroxide to copper sulfate produces a precipitate as copper hydroxide is insoluble. The deep blue of adding ammonia produces an ionic complex that cannot be separated from solution.
