Difference btw these 2 is that while traditional marketing focused on selling the products which were produced by the company where as modern marketing first looks at from customer satisfaction point of view and then produce the product according to the needs of the customer subsequently selling those goods to target customers.

In old market their were no proper facility and no proper items for humans satisfaction. People were are even not aware of new things and had no ideas of selling ...
In modern market they had got lots of ideas and their humans had also got satisfaction and loyalty. There would be no problem or bargaining . ..
