aerobic respiration takes place in the presence of oxygen in which complex food molecule are broken down into simple soluble substance and combines with oxygen to produce energy inside our body. anaerobic respiration takes place inside our body in the absence of oxygen. food is broken downinto complex food is broken down into alcohol carbon dioxide and energy anaerobic respiration takes place inside the cells of our body also and produce lactic acid the accumulation of lactic acid causes muscle cramps east and many other bacteria make use of it
