Difference between angular velocity and tangential velocity

Raj01080: Angular velocity and tangential velocity are two important concepts in movements of matter. The scope of this article is to describe the two concepts, angular velocity and tangential velocity, and present the basic differences between them.

angular velocity depends on force whereas tangential velocity changes at every point due to the curves or you can say that due to moving in a circle shape the body changes its velocity at every curve/turn because of the undefined angles.. try drawing a figure for this of try practical with a bead and a cap of a jar or something circular to obtain tangential motion

angular velocity- the angular velocity of a particle is the time rate of change of its angular displacement relative to the origin. the SI unit of angular velocity is radians per second and it is usually represnted by the symbol omega

tangential velocity- the tangential velocity is the velocity measured at any point tangent to a turning wheel. thus tangential velocity,Vt is related to the angular velocity of wheel
