Difference between apoplast and symplast pathway of movement of water
Apoplast Pathway :
It is the system of adjacent cell walls that is continuous throughout the plant except casparian strips of the endodermis of the roots.
Water moves through the intercellular spaces and the walls of cells.
Movement does not involve crossing the cell membrane.
Symplast Pathway :
It is the system of interconnected protoplast.
Water travels through the cytoplasm of cells and intercellular movement is through plasmodesmata.
Water has to mow in cells through the cell membrane.

✌️✌️hey mate here is the answer...
⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️
➡️Apoplast pathway of water movement:
•it consist of non living parts of plant body that is cell walls and intercellular spaces.
•There is little resistance in the movement of water.
•it is faster.
•metabolic state of root doesn't affect apoplast pathway.
➡️Symplast pathway:
• It consist of living parts of plant body that is protoplast connected by plasmodesmata.
•some resistance occurs in the movement of water through symplast.
•it is slightly slower.
•metabolic state of root directly affect symplast pathway.
