Arteries:-
<> They have thick walls
<> They  blood from the heart to the parts of the body
<> All the arteries carry oxygenated blood except the pulmonary artery which carries deoxygenated blood from the heart back to the lungs

<> Arteries do not have valves

Veins :-
<> Veins don't have thick walls , that is , veins have thin walls
<> Veins carry  blood from the  parts of the body  to the heart
<> All the veins carry deoxygenated blood , except , the pulmonary vein which carries oxygenated blood to heart.

<> Veins have valves , to prevent the back flow of blood ,and allows the blood to flow only in 1 direction

Δ Arteries :

⇒ Arteries carry blood from the heart to the different body parts.

⇒They generally carry oxygenated blood but exception for Pulmonary artery . Pulmonary Artery is the only artery that carries carbon dioxide means deoxygenated blood from heart to lungs .

⇒ Arteries have thick walled and no valves present.

⇒ Arteries have High pressure which the blood is pumped from heart .

⇒Arteries have small branches are called Arterioles.

Δ Veins :

⇒ Veins carry blood from the body to the heart.

⇒ They generally carry deoxygenated blood but exception for Pulmonary vein, Pulmonary vein carries oxygenated blood from lungs to the heart.

⇒ Veins have thin walled and valves are present

⇒ Veins have low pressure .

⇒ Veins have valves which allow the blood flow only in one direction and prevent from backflow of blood.

⇒ Veins have small branches are called Venules
