Explanation: Arteries carry oxygenated blood away from the heart, these are the thick-walled muscular tube, whereas Veins carry deoxygenated blood towards the heart. Though both have the exception of the pulmonary artery and vein, as here the system get opposite and the pulmonary artery carries the deoxygenated blood, and pulmonary vein carries oxygenated blood.
