Asexual reproduction :
- The production of young ones by a single parent without the formation and fusion of gametes is called asexual reproduction.
- Here fertilization is absent.
- It cannot be any variation.
- It is primitive method of reproduction that is similar than sexual reproduction.
Sexual reproduction :
- Production of young ones by the formation and fusion of special cells contribute generally by two parents is called sexual reproduction.
- Here fertilization is present.
- It being variation.
- Unlike asexual reproduction the young ones are not genetically identical to the parents.

The fusion of male and female cells to form
structure called zygote ( involvement of both cells) is called Sexual Reproduction.
Asexual reproduction:
Production of baby plants with involvement of one cell (without formation of seeds) is known as Asexual reproduction
