Question:-
Diffrence between atomic mass and molecular mass.?
Answer:-
Atomic Mass:-
- Defined as a mass of a mole of a substance.
- Measured in grams per mole.
- Determined by dividing the mass of compound X by the moled of compound X.
Molecular mass:-
- Refers to the mass of the molecules
- measured in atomic mass
- Determine by taking average masses of each atom while deriving the atomic masses from the table.
- The mass of an atom of an chemical element expresseed in atomic mass unit .
- it is approximately to the number of protons and neutrons in the atom..or to the average of following the number of isotops.
- The molecular mass is the mass of given molecule.
- diffrent molecule of same compound may have different molecular mass because they contain different isotopes.

✌✌✌✌good afternoon ☺☺☺☺
the atomic mass corresponds to the mass of an element, while the molecular mass corresponds to the mass of a chemical compound.
FOR EXAMPLE :-
mass of carbon is refferd as an the atomic mass. atomic mass of carbon is 12.0107amu.
but CO2 is a molecule, hence mass of this compound is referred as molecular mass instead of atomic mass.
molecular mass is the total sum of the atomic masses of all the elements present in the molecule .
molecular mass CO2 The sum of the atomic masses of one carbon atom and two oxygen atoms which is 44.010 .
