Autonomic movement is the spontaneous movement due to the inner causes. the 3 cases are :1: turgor movement, 2:tactic movement I. e chemotactic, phototactic,
3: growth movement i. e hypotency and epinasty
Paratonic movement :apparent motion due to outside stimulation, cases are :1.nastic movement, 2. tropic movements, 3.haptonastic movement .
Nastic movement :these are mostly found in specialised plants and organs. But the tropic movement are found virtually in all plants.
Nastic movement occur when a stimulus is present but do not involve movement toward or away from the stimulus. Tropic movement is a directional growth of a plant or part of a plant in response to an external stimulus such as gravitation or light.
