hm..

the organisms which prepare their own food frm the substances available in their surroundings like photosynthesis ...r autotrophs 
they r 2 types of autotrophs ...
Photoautotroph and Chemoautotroph 

the word auto means self ..

ex: plants , bluegreen algae and some bacteria 


the organisms which cannot make their own food and depend on others or autotrophes are heterotrophes 
they r also 2 types ..
Photoheterotroph  and  Chemoheterotroph 

ex: humans , elz carnivorous , herbivorous , omnivorous
