auxin: is earliest known plant growth regulator. It promotes cell elongation especially in shoots. It obtained from plant are called natural auxin.

Gibberellins: Kurosawa first time noted the existence of gibbellins in a fungusGibberella fuzikuroi of ascomycetes infected rice plant. This is popularly known as Bakanne disease of rice.

the difference b/w auxin nd gibberellins is that the auxin promotes the growth of the shoot system whereas gibberellins promotes stem elongation, germination nd flowering.
