Self-evident proposition requiring no formal demonstration for its truth but received and assented to fast mentioning. Axiom truly means Logical and Mathematical demonstration.
Postulates depicts specifically in Geometry which is a claim for granted possibility of simple operation that straight line can be drawn between two points which is a simple problem of self-evident nature differentiated from axiom which is self evident.
