The main difference is that the bacterial cell wall is made up of peptidoglycans whereas the fungal cell wall is made up of chitin.
Peptidoglycan(murein) is a polymer made of sugars(glycosaminoglycan) and peptides. Gram-Positive Bacteria have a relatively thick cell wall when compared to Gram-Negative Bacteria.
Apart from chitin, the fungal cell wall is also made of glucan polymers(provide rigidity to the cell wall) and proteins.
