bacteriosatic stops the generation growth of bacteria whereas bacteriocide kill them

The main difference bactericidal and bacteriostatic is that bactericidal is a type of antibiotic that kills bacteria whereas bacteriostatic is a type of antibiotics that inhibit the growth and reproduction of bacteria.
