Ans: Barren waste land is a land where no more cultivation is possible as it is not fertile.these lands are required to convert into cultivatable land for better economic growth.ex--these lands maybe cultivated to provide food for fodder .

Culturable waste land is the land left uncultivatec for replinishment of nutrients in the soil for the future requirement of crops grown there.
