difference between base drum and side drum

rabinmukherjee6040: I know what u r asking about
rabinmukherjee6040: We hear the sound of Base drum louder than the side drum
rabinmukherjee6040: Because Base drum has a large area of cross section....while side drum has less area of cross section and areas we know that loudness is directly proportional to area , so the larger area, more is the loudness ....I appeared for physics exam today...and I surely expect 70 and above in physics
priyusha: are u sure with the answer
priyusha: question 9b graph
rabinmukherjee6040: What ?? Are you asking about minimum deviation or melting of lead?? I haven't chosen that question.. I had only chosen the graph for angle of minimum deviation
rabinmukherjee6040: Are u in class 10 ??

A bass drum, or kick drum, is a large drum that produces a note of low definite or indefinite pitch. Bass drums are percussion instruments and vary in size and are used in several musical genres. Three major types of bass drums can be distinguished.

A snare drum or side drum is a percussion instrument that produces a sharp staccato sound when the head is struck with a drum stick, due to the use of a series of stiff wires held under tension against the lower skin.

Hope this helps you!!
