In furrow irrigation the water is allowed to enter the field through channels or furrows made between two rows of crop.......

In basin irrigation the field is just filled with water as in the case of paddy. Canals , tanks , and wells are the water resources. Farmers dig small canals from tank to field to supply water.

From this the difference is just that ,

In basin irrigation , total field is filled with water and in furrow irrigation between the two rows the water is supplied.......
