In basin irrigation the field is just filled with water as in the case of paddy. Canals , tanks , and wells are the water resources. Farmers dig small canals from tank to field to supply water.
From this the difference is just that ,
In basin irrigation , total field is filled with water and in furrow irrigation between the two rows the water is supplied.......
