Binary means two.

Division of cell into two daughter cell is Binary fission.

Example - Amoeba.

And division of cell into multiple cell is multiple fission.

Example - Planaria.

these both are the type of asexual reproduction
binary fission: in the time of reproduction when the organism divides into exactly to divisions Means binary fission
example: amoeba and etccc
multiple fission: during the time of reproduction of the organism divides into two or more division means it is called as multiple fission
example: bacteria and etcccc
