binary fission is performed during favourable conditions, while multiple fission is done during adverse conditions.

also, binary fission is performed by protists and eukaryotic microbes but multiple fission is only performed by protists like amoeba.

there is formation of a cyst in multiple fission where there is no cyst formation in binary fission.

at the end of binary fission, only two daughter cells, similar to each other are formed. but in multiple fission, many Amobulae are released due to repetitive divisions in cytoplasm

1. Nucleus divided into two parts.
2. Occur during normal condition.
3. It gives rise to to individual.
4.Cytoplasm divides after its nucleus division.
for example: amoeba
Multiple fission:
1. Nucleus divided into many parts.
2. It takes place during unfavourable condition.
