Biomacromolecules have molecular weight more than 1000dalton and are found in acid insoluble fraction means retentate.

e.g, Proteins.

Biomacromolecules have molecular weight less than 1000dalton and are found in acid soluble fraction means filtrate.

e.g, Carbohydrates like glucose.

lipids/fats are Biomacromolecules because of molecular weight which is less than 1000dalton but are found in retentate because of formation of water insoluble vesicles.
