Block Mountains is defined as the result of faulting caused by tensile and compressive forces motored by endogenenic forces coming from within the earth, also known as fault block mountains.

Graben is an elongated block of the earth's crust lying between two faults and displaced downwards relative to the blocks on either side, as in a rift valley.
