Evaporation usually occurs on the surface. Evaporation may occur when the partial pressure of vapor of a substance is less than the equilibrium vapour pressure. Boiling is a phase transition from the liquid phase to gas phase that occurs at or above theboiling temperature.

Difference b/w boiling and evaporation is-
Boiling- The water boils at 100°c and vaporise in atmosphere
Evaporation- Water vaporise continuously even at 30-50°c
For example- Drying of clothes on sunshine is an example of evaporation
