The process in which heat is applied to any liquid medium to convert in to gas(it may convert or may not be) is called boiling.
In boiling some liquid may convert some maynot. for example when we boil water the we drink boiled water in boiling process some water gets evaporated and some not .
So the process in which liquid convert in to gas is called evaporation.
Evaporation can done without heat also by using wind.
