Breathing- A phenomenon of inhaling and exhaling of air or movement of air into and out of the lungs.

Respiration -Acquiring of oxygen from outside the body, and to use it in the process of break-down of food for cellular needs.

Breathing takes place in lungs... Respiration is intercellular process... In breathing no energy is produced
