 \huge{\underline{\mathfrak{\red{ANSWER}}}}\:

Broilers

Broilers are raised specifically for meat production. Most commercial broilers reach slaughter weight between four months.

Layers

Layer chickens are species of chickens which can be raised for the egg production when they are one day old. They start laying eggs commercially from 18-19 weeks of age.

Difference between Broilers and layers

  • An egg laying poultry is called layer whereas broilers are reared for obtaining meat. So a layer should be able to produce more number of large sized eggs, without growing too much.

  • Good management practices are essential for the good production of poultry. These include maintenance of temperature and hygienic conditions in housing and poultry feed, as well as prevention and control of diseases and pests.

Hope it will be helpful for uh !!!
