Difference between buoyancy and upthrust:
1) Buoyancy is the ability of the liquid to float an object when it is partially or wholly immersed in the water. This tendency of the liquid depends i=on the density difference of the water and the object.
2) Upthrust is the force exerted by the liquid on the object in upward direction against the weight of the object.
