The basic difference is that combustion is heating and no flames are produced whereas in burning most of the energy is converted to light energy and this results in less heat energy as compared to combustion. ... when in a combustion process a flame is produced it is referred to burning

burning and combustion both are different quantities during burning we heat any objective but during combustion commercial is produced by the combustible substances like petrol is a combustible substances if it is displayed on the wood and then it, stable like a seo2 also another is sample is that what we heat water after this it is operate but we cannot say that it is a, stable process
