Cash crops are those from which wealth can be generated easily and in high amount. Such as Coffee, Mangoes, Tobacco etc.
Food crops are the crops which are grown for the consumption of the common people. Such as wheat, rice, cucumber etc.

They are use for a motto of profit making
E.g.- indigo,cotton,jute etc
Whereas
Food crops refers to those crops which are used to sustain oneself
E.g-wheat,rice,pulses etc
