HI, I will answer it:-[Note: There are no mistakes in this answer. It's sure]****************************************************************************************************Race and Caste for long had been used to distinguish people into different categories.Race differentiates people on basis of physical traits and characteristics like nasal index, hair texture, skin color, a span of forehead etc. A race is biologically inherited. Thus, it is an ascribed status. Few main races of India are Dravidians, Indo Aryans, Austroasiatic, Brachyphales, Nordics, Mediterraneans, Mongoloids, Caucasoids etc. It falls within the domain of Anthropology.Caste, on the other hand, is a way of social stratification through which people are divided into several groups. Caste is generationally inherited. It passes from one generation to another and individuals own it from their parents. However, caste is not a physical or biological feature. Nobody can guess a person’s caste by looking at the outside appearance. Few important castes in India are Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, Sudras.****************************************************************************************************Thanks and regards:Eva jiju.  ****************************************************************************************************Hope it helps you!
