CATEGORICAL DATA :-
It is the type of data that is most likely to characterize a martial status, or the likings of a person, a home town, or its gender. They accept numerical values but the numbers used can never have a mathematical meaning. They cannot be added nor be subtracted...
NUMERICAL DATA :-
It is the type of data with the meaning stated as measurement, for example:- A person's blood group, weight or their IQ etc.
Numerical Data has 2 parts :-
1. Discrete

Categorical-(bar + pie graph) are used to graph categorical data...Also...Such data are sorted into groups for measurement..
Numerical data-(scatter plots+line graphs) are used to graph numerical data....Also....Here,data can be measured by sorting data in ascending or descending order...
