⚫ Anode

♦ The electrode connected to the positive terminal of the battery.

♦ Current enters the electrolyte through the anode.

♦ The electrode connected to the negative terminal of the battery.

♦ The battery current leave the electrolyte through the cathode.

♦ Cations migrate and discharge at the cathode

Anode and cathode is easy to understand the positive and negative terminal of battery.

Anode is defined as electricity flow into the electrode. Then it is lead to the flow of electron.

cathode is electricity flow out the electrode. it is have large number of electron.
