Conduction- when two objects are brought in physical contact to each other , the charges of a charged body is transferred to the neutral body. imagine that a positively charged object body has come in contact with neutral object , the electrons are passed from charged body to uncharged body, and the uncharged body attains the negatively charged body.
Induction-when the neutral body has come to the electric field of the charged body but without any contact , the nature of the charges are induced to the neutral body is opposite to that of the charged body.

➜ Charging a body by conduction is done by touching a charged body, whereas no touching is needed to charge a body by induction.

➜ In charging by conduction, charge moves from charged body to uncharged body, whereas in charging by induction no charge flows from charged body to the uncharged body.

➜ Some charge is lost in charging by conduction, whereas there is no loss in any charge in charging by induction.
