displacement reaction is reaction in which more reactive metal or element displaces less reactive element from its compound.
eg. 2Fe+2CuSO4 = 2Cu+2FeSO4
double displacement reaction is reaction in which exchange of ions take place.
eg. NaCl+AgNO3=NaNO3+AgCl
hope it helps
