hey frnd here is your answer
1) ethanoic acid give red colour on ph paper, alcohol give blue colour on ph paper
2)CH3COOH+Na----> CH3COONa +H2O
C2H5OH +Na ----->C2H5ONa +H2
3) CH3COOH +NaOH -----> CH3COONa +H2O
C2H5OH +NaOH ----> C2H5ONa+H2O
I hope my answer helps you...

First of all I will tell you about chemical properties of ETHANOL AND then ETHONIC acid.

Chemical properties of ethanol:-

(1). It is neutral in nature. It has no effect on litmus paper.

(2). It reacts with SODIUM(Na) TO form SODIUM ETHOXIDE and HYDROGEN

C_{2} H_{5} OH + Na ---------- C_{2} H_{5}ONa+H_{2}  \\

(3). It does not react with Sodium carbonate

(4). It reacts with Ethonic acid to form ester.

Chemical properties of etchonic acid;

(1) It is acidic in nature. It turns blue litmus into red.

(2).It reacts with SODIUM to form Sodium ethanoate and hydrogen.

(3). It reacts with sodium carbonate.

(4). It Reacts with ethanol to form ester.
