Chlorenchyma is a type of parenchyma cells which contains chloroplast.People may confuse between chlorenchyma and collenchyma ,but both are different.
Parenchyma is the functional tissue of an organ as distinguished from the connective and supporting tissue.

Parenchyma cells are living whereas sclerenchyma cells are dead. Parenchyma cells retain their power of division whereas sclerenchyma cells cannot divide. Parenchyma cell walls are thin whereas the cell walls of sclerenchyma cells are highly lignified and hence thick.
